Sea Stuka revised with torpedo
« on: April 23, 2017, 12:12:09 PM »

This is a small revision of Aviator Mod Team's Sea Stuka posted by F22-Raptor-2006 here: https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,12313.0.html

It now carries a torpedo weapons loadout and drops the torpedo as a torpedo-plane should and not as a dive-bomber would.

As the original mod this plane should work in 409 and 410 based games. If it works in other versions for you please report it so tag can be upgraded.

Plane and torpedo use new class and folder names so they should not conflict with original Torpedo, Sea Stuka or other Stuka mods.
Download here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/xbp1epch6f801dd/Ju-87C2++april23.7z

If you experience a "null" when a mission loads it may mean you buttons file does not contain correct engine file. These flightmodels will fix that.

From the original Ju-87C mod's credits below;
-----------------------------------------------------------------------
The Aviator Mod Team presents the Ju-87C!

This Ju-87C mod is a partially historical and what-if mod. This version is what we think the Ju-87C would probably be like if it was produced and used on the Graf Zeppelin. Therefore it has folding wings and a tailhook as the historical prototype of the Ju-87C had, we've also put in an uprated engine and increased the weight slightly to firstly aid carrier take offs and also account for the various changes that would be made to let the aircraft fold it's wings and tailhoook as well as modification to the landing gear to make it stronger so it won't collapse on landing.

VH-Rock - Default Skin
F22-Raptor-2006 - 3D, FM, Class Files

Special thanks to Storebror for his help and work with the gear jettison coding and also to Birdman for his mesh fixes.

Hi CWatson,
Great addition! Thank you, very much.
I tested it on several QMB missions (Vp_modpack) so far everything works perfectly, the only thing not working is the aircraft markings .

Best regards,
Piotrek

the only thing not working is the aircraft markings .

Piotrek,

That is intentional. I prefer markings applied on skin over game generic markings so I changed the overlays in the meshes.

Thanks again,

That's cool ! Thank you CWatson for your work ! This Ju-87C2 could easily pretend to be a Kriegsmarine 'field mod' for Graf Zeppelin / Peter Strasser units waiting for the Ju-87D-4/Ju-87E (see here) to be developped ;)
