Riken, my hat off!

IMHO, the P-38 with the four bladed propellers is really outstanding. Very eyecatching! THANK YOU!

Hope to see some nice Air-racing skins for it soon...

And our Greek friend S0cratzy had a great idea... 5 bladed props mated to the P-38.... mmm, tasty... Maybe with two Rolls-Royce Griffons instead of the Allisons?

Riken, I really hope you'll get bored again very soon... :D

Cheers

I have some private skins if you want :P

Thanks for these, is there anyway to make them appear as stationary aircraft? I'd really appreciate it if there is.

Hi Sire Riken,

Thanks for these just for fun aircraft.

I really like the B-17 and C-47.

Hallo Kommandeur Riken

I tested the C47D tonight, it flies beautifully. And a great bird of transport.
Thank you. Kirk

Just wondering if the graphical representation of more blades is somehow modelled in the A/C's FM? If so, I'd though its an easier mod/upgrade for A/C, assuming theres adequate power to overide the extra drag.

Not yet, we are going to work on that at some point, but have many projects on the plate at the moment.

Big problem I see with the P-38: P-38`s are supposed to have counter-rotating propellers. [when looking at the plane head-on, the left one spins counter-clockwise, and the right one spins clockwise] This balances-out propeller torque effects, and gives the plane good handling characteristics, which would be lost if both propellers (especially 4-bladed ones) spin in the same direction.

Big problem? Nope, it's a little problem. A big problem would be that the plane crashes your game or something more major. ;)

Like it says at the top of the thread, these are planes that I made just for fun because I got bored. There might be a chance to get to doing these later on as a full out upgrade, but Like Friction states, we are busy with more important projects at the moment. So that means that these will have to stay as is until we get our other projects finished or if someone comes in and makes a fix for that propeller. If someone want's to, you may and upload it to here.
