It looks great but I tried QMBPro, but I don't think I'm ready for it yet...

It knocked out a mod that I constantly use in QMB Plus with skinning projects (a V1 interceptor which starts with being stationary on the runway); also I'm rubbish when it comes to creating missions!

After a night of playing with this little gem I've found that this is absolutely everything I've ever wanted in FMB/QMB/missions and campaigns.

   Now I'm consolidating the data in ReadMes as a documentation to go with the Combo, but basically there isn't anything new to learn for those who have already used MissionPro and QMBPro. Just the setting to make user selectable the direction of the mouse scrollwheel.

Installed & up & running.It gives me far more maps in QMB which is great & opportunities to tune "singles" missions...but "target" function seemd impaired as it gives me only options for"none" or "scramble".Have I missed needing to disable other QMB Mission Pro folders in Mods folder in order to get these options back...or simply enjoy the new maps that are easier to use outside of FMB ;)?

dietz, that kind of problem is normally just due to there only being those missions done in the Quick missions folder. to enable the others, you either have to make those missions yourself, or find some to download somewhere..it's nothing to do with this actual mod.  ;)
but, yes, you should disable any other QMB Misison Pro folders in Mods folder, naturally...

Benito, Hi.

I am one of those hidden users of your excellent additions, and this is only a "hey, this happened to me" note.

I have a SAS v2 installation highly modded,which was working fine with your previous QMB Pro and FMB Plus.

I installed your Combo, and yes, with it I can access the IL2 FMB from the quick mission screen and make modifications to this quick mission, and everyting is OK, so far.

However, I am also a FAN of the also excellent jg5_tigger Quick Mission Tool (QMT). I do not know if you have QOT or not, or if you know it, but to me it is essential, so I used the QOT markers on the quick mission, went out (Control + Esc) of IL2, call QOT and ..... no mission, the tittle appears OK in QOT, but no Map, no markers, no nothing.

Back to IL2, and I have my mission, this time with the "Markers" that I wanted to use in QOT.

For me, the solution is easy: stick with the reliable and excellent QMB Pro and FMB plus from Benito, and also with QOT from jg5_tigger, after redoing (erasing the markers) on the quick mission that I was modifying before, however if I want to make modifications with QMT, I will have to redo, or perhaps import this quick from another of my IL2 installations (yes, I have lots of these).

I understand that you or any modder for that matter cannot be aware of all variations of IL2 we users may have, so please take this as a simple note from me that could be or not useful to you, and this may be checked by someone else using this QMT,because your combo is Beta and as such being tested and perhaps subject to modifications, and not all of us users have necessarily same the combination of programs or Installations that I have.

First: ..thanks a lot!!
I spent some time reading posts and may very well have overread something.
Also I am pretty new to IL-2 modding, just started this May and flew it "clean" from disc the years before.
I run HSFX4.11 with the last Histomod WIP mod and a special Zuti mod shipping with it.
I know the latter may be a problem..
After several install-runs of Mission Pro Combo I did this:

I read all instructions..
I 2st ran QMBProPalFull, copied your missions in my main install's Missions/Quick folder,
put the QMBProPal mod folder in my Mods folder, replaced my QMBMaps.ini with yours and activated some maps by deleting the // and adding extra entries..

Then I deleted the QMBPRoPal mod folder and replaced it with your MissionProCombo mod (00_PALMissionProCombo).

I also added some of my other maps to the QMBMaps.ini.
The old default maps in Quicks now cause no probs, but the others, like e.g. Benghalli, only allow prescripted settings, e.g. I always start at takeoff, cannot choose all options like target Armor, Bridge, Airbase etc..all but one option ("none") are white and also "N" is default.

This counts for alll maps that were not previously default in QMB.

Weird:
I copied all the new missions in my Missions/Quick folder, none of those can be selected via "load" now.
Also Benghalli always features one Hellcat Escort flight now+ several Japanese enemy airborne fighters-independent of the enemies I select. Like the first time I was able to choose the copied missions in an ealier install, one of the pre-built missions. That's not too bad, now I always have targets there.. ;)

Redko's Desert map wasn't recognized-I have no Quick mission for this map stored under Missions/Quick.
I guess it only works for maps where I have those.

For Hawaii things are-oddly enough-different:
Target options are still there, nothing is "Whited out" and it works normally.

Anyway:
I have several new maps now together with funny prescripted enemies, thus=lots of more funmoments.
Hawaii alone is very cool to have in my QMB set.

The "stock maps" work like before. So nothing lost..

A huge gain even with my  minor probs.  :D ;D

Seems there is much more to get the concept than I estimated..I egin to understand that some of my probs are due to the pre-defined nature of my Quick missions.

              even when it's not particularly complicated, the way the QMB is structurated respects a logic kind of particular, so I understood that you didn't know the whole picture. I hope that the details given at this topic could be helpful for you.

I already start to worry about the amount of fun available with this and other helpful mods I use..
and my ability to spent time NOT flying IL-2 or reading about mods. ;D

benitomuso, as a longtime user of your stuff i really appreciate this approach.

i have it running on a heavily modded UP2.01. running good and no trouble as of yet.
