Poltava,
I have a LOVE/HATE relationship with this campaign. I love all of the juicy targets and blowing stuff all to pieces. Great entertainment! But I can't get enough if it so I always end up crashing. I hate that. I have killed myself eight times and still haven't completed the second mission! That's OK...the fools who run the USAF just keep sending me more planes to crash.
I am having a great time with your new campaign. I hope you make more.

Well, I learned after a while to call it a day as soon as the "MISSION ACCOMPLISHED" flashed across the screen. Not least because your mates in the flight will evetually do as you do, and keep on pounding the ground it until They Are No More. Go in, fast and straight - slam-bam-thank you mam - and get the hell out. And tell the flight to do the same!  ;D

I have updated this campaign to DBW 1.7.

On some missions I added the FAC & RESCAP objects from CY6’s C&C Mod – very appropriate btw for this campaign. Did some small tweaking and correcting on several missions. Plus added one historical mission: escort B-29’s during the legendary raid on Namsi.



Version 2.0 of "Mud Movers" can be downloaded from M4T - see first post!

I must be doing something wrong  :'( Can not get the Tjet off the ground. Even tried auto pilot but it will not lift off.Something is porkked cause I can fly .

try the armament variants with RATO bottles (rocket assisted take off). take off speed is about 260 km/h IIRC.

Everything perfect in this campaign. One question. Is it normal that Taegu looks like an unprepared runway? can the F-84 operate from unpaved runways? in fact I always need Jato for takeoff

I have now updated this campaign (which BTW is an old favourite of mine) to 4.12 standards, using HSFX 7:



This means that you now have taxi-to-takeoff, etc. Which forced me to relocate the whole outfit. The original 9th FBS / 58th FBW was based at Taegu, but the Taegu on the otherwise excellent KTO map is too cramped for the Thunderjet in 4.12, so I've chosen Pohang as the home base instead. Calls for a little of the old suspended disbelief, but I think that's no biggie. And I added a revised version of the legendary raid on Namsi - before it could be very hard on your CPU, but I simply made it smaller, lighter, so now it should run ok on all rigs.

"Mud Movers" might work in CUP as well. I hope so but don't know ATM.

Now this campaign is available for Asura's DGenPack version 2.0!
2 days of work, and i converted "Mudmovers" to make it compatible with DGenPack. Theres few small improvements, replace of some squads and ground objects, detailed info in readme.

Mud Movers will run in BAT Jet, but the following objects
are missing
:-( mission 1) P_5103ONA,M3A1_APC, BA-64.
   (missions 2,4,and 6) Russiacarscolumn G.
   (mission 3 ) 3-DiamondT_US, Infantry 4-Russian, Infantry 4-US,
   (mission 7 ) USACars Column F, 4 Russian Infantry, 4 Us Infantry,
   (mission 9)  4 US Infantry, $ Russian Infantry,
   (mission 11) 4-chevralet flatbed-us.
missions 5 , 8 and10 no missing objects
Not sure if these missing objects will effect the missions outcome or not
I also assume these objects will be missing in CUP.
Hope this helps those who use BAT .

Oooh, I'm really sorry to hear this, as all these objects are not special mods in any way, but run-of-the-mill standard objects to be found both in both ye olde DBW and HSFX. Those moving ground objects are in most case important for the missions - this is a ground pounder campaign, right?

Sorry, there is no easy solution for this, except someone running BAT doing a manual substitute for look-alike objects...
