It is normal... that happens in every mod in which certain part of the folding-wings code was forgotten  :D ("controlweapons=0" or something like that)... this mod is not finnished as you can see, it will get better as time passes... which reminds me I still have to do my homework on those wing's pivots  ::)

Actually, that code was not forgotten... it's just the code doesn't work lol. I'm not quite sure why but I noticed the bug once before... however after checking the code, the user should not have any control of weapons but apparently they still work so...

Right, I got bored today so I spent an hour messing with the 3D and class files so now the canopy opens internally too! Enjoy!

I just wonder how  were they going to land in reality, if gear was jettisoned? By the way, it was suggested that Ju87C would have underwing 300 - litres droptanks as Ju87R had, will it ?

I can't believe this. Dear mishapilot, lol! You forgot to read the whole thread. The gear is jettisoned only in emergency landing over the sea (so, when the plane is doomed), not to land over the carrier.


 I am sorry! I meant that they are jettisoned when plane landing over the sea, but missed half of a phrase LOL! ;D

well it means the plane is flat from underneath, so it lands smoothly into the sea and kinda floats, whereas with gears it would nose in hard as the gear hit the sea...

I'll be the first to admit it...I'm a bit slow on the uptake & initially didn't see much uses for this neat variation on the Stuka...but that was before I accidentally discovered we had this in FMB ( I don't use it much except to check out maps)

So I finally did download & installed it ( along with the 109T- which I haven't tried yet & am sure will destroy on first attempts in carrier landings- honestly they had to be kidding thinking this would be a good carrier a/c!) I also tried installing the Bismark,which worked like a charm too.
Anyway here are a few screenshots of simple flight -pretty nice stuff for fantasy missions:

Many thanks for your lovely efforts-opening cockpit is a great mod too!
Now I only wish I had paid more attention to how to put aircraft on deck in FMB...does anyone know a thread or readme?
hope our stalward mission builders do something with these additions too!
