Italian seaplane object (Solved)
« on: March 08, 2025, 05:37:23 PM »

I'm looking for one Italian seaplane object.
  * IMAM Ro.43 or Reggiane Re.2000

This is the object that will fit in the ship folder. So it's different from the static object on the map. Therefore, it should have msh-mat-tga-.him. The fuselage and wings should have the Italian roundels & decals for more visual.

I'm using a replica of the sister ship VittorioVeneto from Littorio2 (asheshouse mod). The ship's name panel written Littorio (...on the right side of the stern) was properly erased using the windows paint board.

That is, I want to put a seaplane here.

PS : 1) refer to https://www.sas1946.com/main/index.php/topic,73202.msg795931.html#msg795931
       2) just in case, I'm linking to the file uploaded by Maciek1460 for the skinners that paint is possible if there's only an object file. Among them, I recommend painting FM1 in the Italian version.

Add screenshots to arouse Skinners' curiosity.... :-|

Currently, a seaplane has been loaded onto VittorioVeneto by personal tweaking. But the seaplane is darker in color compared to her fancy RM paint. So hoping for its new paint.

A desirable painting is likely to follow the example of Stanislao's VittorioVeneto_Ro-43 (Dimon version) skin.

Thank you.

It's solved !!

I received a seaplane's object file in Italian paint from dear stanislao.

For the object, FM1 of maciek1460 was used.

It looks much better than the dark paint.

Thank you, stanislao.

How to make VittorioVeneto will be released later in the 'Ships' section.

We need to figure out a way to takeoff from ship catapults again in BAT...

Looks great BTW.

If I remember correctly, it is possible to do it from some Japanese submarine with some floatplanes.

Now you can go over here.

And the seaplane is just an object. It just sits there and never takes off... ;)
