« on: August 31, 2024, 02:43:45 AM »

Tried searching for a seaplane base to add to a map in FMB and swamped with answers, ,probably not asking the right question,  is there a test runway  object for seaplanes, and if so where is it in the objects list ? Thanks for any help

You need to operate the FMB in the 'unlocked' mode, so that you can lay down the runaway and taxiways/stay points on the water. The unlocked FMB is also required to alter or create land-based airfields.

what you need to do is basically create a new version of that map. Map Modding.

But seaplanes can take off from any surface of water. with or without it being "a base" formally. Just place the take off waypoint there.
