Take part in General Pershing's punitive expedition to apprehend the Mexican bandit Pancho Villa in 1916.
Who can say the whole air force once was once out to get them?
(spoiler: without success) This man could, since the eight Curtiss Jennies was all that was available when General Pershing asked for and got the First Aerial Squadron to follow him into Mexico in March 1916.
12 Missions, ranging between half an hour to an hour behind the stick.
+++ This campaign is about the flying! +++
The Jenny is an unarmed observation plane. It is slow and climbs like a solid piece of antique furniture on a good day, but is extremely stable in the air.
There will be recon missions, postal duty and general survival against the elements of a hostile desert region. Missions range from half an hour to an hour. The events are historical, sometimes twisted to fit the possibilities of the game. The accounts and narrative is historical.
Recommended settings:
- Overheat to ON (this is part of the fun and fairly easy to manage)
- Torque to ON (the Jenny has torque compensating rudder. It only flies straight when this is ON!)
- Flutter to ON
- Wind to ON (this is part of the fun)
enjoy:)
