"Visual update" for the Lavochkin series (w.i.p)
« on: June 22, 2024, 07:44:23 AM »

Hi all.

Yesterday I came across my unfinished work. I don’t know why, but I decided to return to her. This is an empty "gray" skin. I create them to be able to remake standard custom skins, but with improved detail. I love doing this.
It's like drawing, only more interesting.
I don’t know if this is interesting to anyone else besides me)) But I’ll share what happened.

He's not ready yet.

Hello. There is some news on current work:

Made skins for La-5, La-5F, La-5FN. Work on La-7 is in progress.

La-5:

La-5F:

La-5FN:

Made changes to the 3D model:

The work was taken as a basis from - Dimas1999. From the Aviaskins website. The changes here are minimal, namely: A new rear strut, improved wheel textures, and the addition of manifolds.

This is what it will look like in the game:

That's all for now. See you soon.

Great idea. La fighters need a good lifting. Except new pilots; no change since beginning ...in 2001'IL2 Sturmovik original)...
I dream about new 3D (high polys) but your work is very interesting.
Waiting for it!!! :)
La-5FN is my favourite plane.

Frankiek, I know about Dima's mod. And I use it in my work. There is also, a very good update of the cabins. They are simply amazing. Dmitry, did a great job. I will make some cosmetic changes. I will hardly touch on his work. Except that I will add those details that I wrote about.

But in any case, thanks for the tip. Thank you.

Sergent Pepper,...

I dream of a high-poly model of the aircraft - Ju-87 series D,
I know, on one of the sites, it is. But the glazing of the canopy is done incorrectly there. A completely different shape. I like how this series looks in Warthunder.
I also dream of the series - A-20, in two versions (with, and without glazing). Another single-seat Il-2, would be by the way... And of course, there are not enough "Poles". Also, from there, from high-poly model - Warthunder.

And the rest, I will accept anyway.

Thank you Frankiek. :)
I didn't know this work.
It works perfectly in my Ypack.
Hope Roman's mod will be compatible with it.

roman, this is very nice.  I think that with small (not in effort) work like this, by the community, will keep this Sim relevant for, well, our lifetimes.

Very nice indeed.
