It was published in 2006 and I bought it in 2006.

I guess it is a different book by almost the same name...

It is the new version...updated and expanded...I have all the old books but anyway bought the new vol.1 and vol.2 and them have a lot mor inside...a bit expensive but worth every one....

I have volume 4 and 5 which are extraordinary in my opinion and if you like aviation history from the second world war, then it is worth the financial sacrifice.
I am also looking forward to the book.

I bought all earlier BCRS volumes except the original vol.1 and some other of his books and cannot recommend this author highly enough.

He is spending a lot of time revising his earlier books Vol 1-5 and he's not getting any younger
I'd like to see the series continue.
I'm looking forward to Vol 6 through however many it takes.
He is only as far as July 1943.
