Irrealistic overheating from the 109

The 109 can stay 10 minutes with full rpm without overheating.The P51d20 na never overheating in the game and the mustang can only stay 5 min with the engine full rpm.The me262 overheating very quickly and the 262 can stay without overhearting 10 minutes.The fw190d9 can stay 10 minutes without overheating but in the game overheating very quickly.

You are correct  :)     Depending on game/mod version.     There is though a random failure possible when overheat condition is reached.   eg. Just because Spitfire book says 10:00 power does not mean a real engine blows up at 10:01 or even 11:45.....everytime......but maybe sometimes it does!

This overheating rate of engines in plane types is a feature that requires ALOT of testing to adjust right.   It requires someone to be interested enough in each plane type to manually test each plane in conditions of temperature, climb, throttle/WEP etc
