OK please excuse my new-ness - this site is awesome and quite daunting at the same time.  I haven't played IL-2 in a few years.

Currently I am trying to gather together the DBW stuff and UP3 to play some spanish civil war stuff with those interesting planes....but... I'd also like to do some pacific war stuff because I also like the Japanese planes.

1. Can somebody point me to a set of mods that have some Pacific maps, missions, planes in them?  I did some searching on the zero but just confused myself.

2. Can I install both sets of mods and alternate between them using IL-2 Selector ?   Or is it required to do a dual install of Il-2?

My Drive Partition is gonna be screaming for mercy but that's a whole nuther ball of beans.... thanks.

Why would you like to install DBW/UP that is more than 10 year old with limited possibility to upgrade and more difficult to get support when you can install the latest BAT that has all you need to fly SCW and Pacific and is really up to date. In any case even if you keep the oldie DBW you will also have there more than enough material for the Pacific theatre including some 15  different Zero models.

Finally it is not really advisable even if technically possible to keep two very different install  in the same folder much better to have two separate install what you can do to save a good amount of space is to have a Symbolic Link to the skin folder that ends up being the more voluminous and Gb consuming.

First, welcome Back.

DBW is history.

I can tell you it's Okay as is, if you intend to boost, go custom,
add stuff. You need to fix lot of Java stuff. Some stuff will not work out.
I know, as some 4.12 Mods just reluctantly don't work there.

Online latest UP3 Cassie makes sense.

Offline BAT is very crunchy.

What you're searching we have achieved with latest BAT.
Simply get informed, read up the Documentation, you missed ten years man.
Get over it. Seeing all the Mods doesn't help. Get informed the right way.
UP3 Today isn't old UP3, get informed as well, it's important.
Knowing what you get will make shiver at what we achieved.

BAT has most of them, so it's lazy business you know.
That's what's different today. And it's better, everything included, means less User
input needed, more time to play, instead dive into stuff.
