Take a look at this and provide feedback.
I have tried to replicate current row of trees as in:
5 trees, only 2 crossed planes, small 512 x 512 texture and roughly same spacing.

If you want better top view resolution, I will have to either reduce size of tree (on texture) or increase height of texture to 1024.
If you like appearance I will do a Spruce and Birth version.

It looks nice, Spruce and Birth will be nice, too.
But top views are necessary for groupings, see here:

Did you place the files provided in the same folder as the single trees I previously uploaded?
Obviously something is wrong with how yours looks compared to mine.
The base.mat file is needed from that folder.

EDIT:  Don't worry about it, I've already done the Spruce tree and when the Birch or other has been done I'll package everything up into one package.

Hello Ivan, I managed a quick fly by and all saved as hoped so I have all the bits, thank you very much, really appreciated.  8)

Found these issues during the fly by on the airfield, a few things out of place ie the extra runway ends:




I thought I had caught the name of the town in the shot I took, obviously not.  :-[

Edit: The town/airfield is Krosno. ;)

The issues at Krosno will be repaired in forthcoming Patch,
together with ones which will appear elsewhere.

It will be useful to make shadows on your winter trees,
otherwise they are not discernible - visible enough on the white snow background.

Well I can give you two types.
Game generated which shift with the position of the sun and fixed.
I must admit I prefer the look of the muted fixed shadow as the game generated shadow looks rather strong, but what would an Aussie know about harsh European winters and snow!

Anyway I'll go the full hog and do game generated shadows removing the horizontal plane info from the shadow data.
I've also discovered a slightly more efficient way of doing trees, so I'll look at redoing everything.
