Based on the configuration and load outs, I would say it's the '46A.

on the port side of the fuselage, equipped with strengthened cargo floor, a

Judging by the second screenshot on page 1, I'd say it's actually the C-46D (with cargo doors on both sides of the fuselage).

Guys, one request from my side:

Can we PLEASE find a way to solve the ongoing issue of having more and more planes being released in a way that exceeds stock game limits for no good reason?
So many planes lately - this included - have a waaaaay too high poly count on some of their meshes, which means they will load with custom, binary modified HD DLLs only.
This renders them effectively invalid for online gameplay.
It's so annoying when you try to integrate these planes into packs like e.g. Ultrapack, making all the way through code cleanup, adding missing weapons.properties, resolving all dependencies etc, just to figure that in the end the game won't load because some mesh has 12.000+ faces!

This is so utterly unnecessary.
All, I repeat - all - of the meshes where these issues arise on all, I repeat - all - affected airplanes released lately could have easily been cut into two or three chunks and all would have been fine.
If the 3D modder involved doesn't want to do this - for whatever reason - the least you could do - PLEASE!!! - is to provide the max (or 3DS, or Blender, or whatever 3D program you've been using) files in it's original fashion, so that another modder can take up that task.
PLEASE!!!
Fix it, or at least provide the source 3D files for us to do it ourselves.

I've been telling this at least three times now, but never ever anyone even bothered to reply.
This is utterly annoying, sorry to say.

Nevermind, fixed it myself the hard way.
Here's the online fix that cuts back the 3D mesh limits to game standards, removes smoothing normals from shadow vertices and sorts a couple other issues.

There you are. Just a simple conversion with IrfanView nothing fancy. Remember that in order to visualize the 1024 skins you will need to replace the tgb file in the default skin folder.

Everything is included in the download (1024x8, 1024x24 and the 1024 skin1o.tgb).

Awesome Mod! Big fan of the Commando  :D

Slight problem - whenever I try to view the C-46 in the QMB it's completely blank, nothing loads in the viewer at all.

I can select it and when I try to load in the mission, it doesn't spawn leaving me in a void, so to speak.
