UP 3.4 CTD on startup

Been away a few weeks, fired up 1946 and the initial splash screen ("IL-2 Selector v5.1") starts, stays on screen for 20 seconds, then disappears. Steam goes from "Running" to "Play" shortly afterwards. Any idea where to start looking? Tried resetting resolutions in conf.ini from the triples to single, same result..

47 views, no ideas? Guess i'll do a full uninstall/delete, do the install dance from scratch.. there was a Win11 update, hopefully that didn't cause it... will report back.

EDIT: Uninstall\reinstall from scratch did the trick, no conf.ini changes, have perfect FOV availability, no mods required, love it..

The info provided is not sufficient to help you. No log, no crash report it could be anything.

Since you mention steam i think its because Steam patchedupdated the game beyond version 4.12.2 and you than tried to run a mod on it.
