Dear Friends and Members of the SAS,

Last Sunday, The Flying Ass Clowns (our virtual Squad teaming up every Sunday) performed a "Missing Man" formation flight in honor of our founder Piet van Wyk de Vries aka SAS~CirX on the occasion of his recent death.

Special thanks go to the pilots who performed the formation flight, as follows:

• Formation Lead: KingTiger503
• Lead's Wingman: P51vsFw190
• 2nd Element Lead (the "missing man"): SAS~Skylla
• 2nd Element Wingman: SAS~Loku

You may notice that the planes carry special skins. In particular, all skins are of 2./JG 26, and the "missing man" plane, 2nd element lead, is the famous "Red 2", ex SH+FA, Werknr. 1289, which today can be found in the South African National Museum of Military History in Johannesburg
