Multi engine aircraft on multiplayer issue
« on: March 07, 2023, 07:31:06 PM »

Good evening. I am using Ultrapack 3.4 Hotfix 14. Specifically when flying on the SAS1946 server running UP 3.4, I cannot start the engines on multi engine aircraft by using the I key. On single engine fighters there is no issue. This issue is not present when playing offline, and the aircrafts in question start up as normal. Is there something I am missing?
    -Thanks.

You need to assign a key for each engine..

Yeah, that's normal - we don't use the 'start all engines at once' setting in our server difficulty settings, we start them all individually on the runway. Your best bet is to spam Ctrl+1, Ctrl+E, Ctrl+2, Ctrl+2/etc for all engines you're starting as that's the fastest way you can pull it off. As Gunny said too, you'll need to bind each engine to a 'select engine x' keybind to pull this off. We like to keep it mil-sim/accurate.

Chocks-in is recommended before starting the engines. Flying boats have no chocks, obviously, so extra caution is required with them, especially in the small harbour.
