You should have in your SFS_AUTO two sasup_decals_01.sfs and sasup_decals_02.sfs the second one is also in the jsgmemods folder in the #SAS_Forgotten Countries subfolder,
Installing sasup_decals_02.sfs into the game did not help - crash by 20 percent. first boot.
This is how I have sfs files in .рс
Code: [Select]
...........................................
@sfs MOUNT sas_bf109_01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sas_bf109_02.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sas_bf109_cockpit.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sas_sound_01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sas_sound_02.sfs

@sfs MOUNT sas_ai_3do01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sasup_decals_01.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sasup_decals_02.sfs
@sfs MOUNT sasup_effects01.sfs

#preload REGISTER
@file .preload

20% crash normally indicates a missing or conflicting class issue so maybe you have a conflict with a mod installed what is your log saying

There were not enough Paint classes, I took 5-30 from Modakt. The game has loaded.

well after all this is still a wip. Most likely there are reference in classes that don't really apply to this plane and is also lacking some cockpit textures

I have gone as far as I can go with my limited modding ability. I have no expertise in cockpit
building. So, mine are imported from relatively similiar mods. I just check to see if gunsight,
rudder and stick, and throttle work with outside view in right location.
When I submit to Aircraft it is an Alpha mod and YCDWTFUWWI.

I agree with Frankiek , we are grateful and appreciate your work 8), and glad that you are one of the many users of this wonderful forum who share their hard work with others ]thumleft[ and your/their only reward is the satisfaction of a newly made model or the enthusiastic posts of happy users :P.
Best regards,

Exactly. ..an existing model was used and transformed into this new model. This one does not use these meshes.
It means simply the hier.him does not mention these parts. The log never specify if it is cockpit's or plane's hier since it is a class requesting these at fault: as a rule, some might be pit and some be plane, or they could all be a request from/to a single hier.
Little clue here: AI planes do not use pit.

No.
If such chunk errors appear only once or a few times, it is not a major issue except for clogging your log.
On the other hand they will not appear in log when the aircraft is not in use.
 ..it is only an issue when a series of chunk errors in a log are in a fast LOOP thus may lead to some out of memory error over time.

To eliminate a chunk error from a log, although here it seems not required, short of correcting a class, a hidden entry of the  mesh can be created in the proper hier. It requires the mesh to EXIST; the material TGA for that mesh must exist (texture); positioning semi-correctly on plane or to unseen exterior of pit ; set a hidden line + that bogus mesh must not be revealed like a "gaz mask" or a "damaged part/or pit instrument" could be, for exemple.
If mesh is absolutely not available, the bogus part may be created by name only, and use a 'safe' mesh, such as small antenna or wire, hidden, possibly already in use, same coordinates or not.
