help needed!

so what i faced. I am facing missing 3d files. In the game, I noticed submarines for which I do not have skins. And most importantly, there are no 3d models. Hier him and everything else. It will be simply impossible to draw skins for other boats if I do not find these same files. I have downloaded all shippack. And unfortunately it didn't work for me. German submarines are early and it will be impossible to draw all the rest. Help is needed...

Please help me find 3d files so I can continue my work.

Here are the boats I will need:

:)   Just an idea Roman... what if you could import these magnificent 3D models, already so well defined and realistic, directly from War of Warships?  In case you are interested, I can send you the complete packages.    ;)

NO QUOTE PICS !!!
no) no) no) Stan, I don't understand anything about 3d.
And I can't do anything with these beautiful models. In particular, transfer them to our simulator. Alas.
It's up to the people who can do it. I'm just repainting. And that's it.
I need these crooked models) those that I sent in the photo. Then if I can open them in 3d, I can recolor them. Then I can make them faster than without 3d.
Alas, I would really like to see high-poly models of submarines appear in our game. At least a little. Let's say three Americans, three Germans, at least a couple of Japanese, one Italian, one British, and one Soviet. It would be great if someone took on such a job.
I would repaint it too.)))

help needed!

Please help me find 3d files so I can continue my work.

Here are the boats I will need:
Submarines
- VIIB
- XIB
- HMS Umbra

Unknown in my game:
- HMS Triton

- Russian submarine: I don't understand Russian. I put instead the "Shuka" which seems to be similar to it!

Link valid for 14 days!

Note: don't look for shadows for these ships... in my game I have removed ALL shadows from the ships!
It's useless and eats up too many resources for nothing!

Epervier, many thanks for the files. Now the success of painting further. There are sailors on deck)) Can I then send files with a late submarine, USS Greenling and Gato. I already have the submarine ready, but from my uploaded 3d I can't check if my texture is properly covered. Present in the game. And this is a waste of time. I want to finish it already. And start something new.

p.s
as soon as I upload them, I will unsubscribe and it will be possible to remove this link, I will do it quickly.

  • Men mean more than guns in the rating of a ship

I couldn't find either the USS Gato or Greenling in my BAT 3DO extract, but did find the originals in the IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 V4.12.2M installation archives.

As far as I know there are no IXD-2 U-Boote available, but I did find two versions of the IXB, one in the original V4.12.2M archives and another in the BAT 3DO SFS extract.

I've uploaded all of them here:

ssn637,

Thanks for any help. I really need her.

The truth is I ran into another problem, I don't pass my tests and add them to the skin to the boat itself. Whether the problem is that I'm wrong about something and something is very bad. Or something else. In any case, I'm still trying to figure it out myself.

But maybe I need help here too... Thanks for the boat. ;)

Such a problem, I can’t open the TGB file (and then the next question is immediately, what is he responsible for, and is he needed?)
Also, I am unable to open the TGA file. Which is surprising, since such files have already been opened.
The files for which I have problems, I put in the archive.

Next, I need help with one more thing.

I repainted in test mode, skin for an American submarine.
It should have looked like this:

but when loaded in the game itself, it looks like this:

What am I doing wrong?, The format is the same and the size is kept the same.

What files need to be changed to transfer my color scheme so that my skin is displayed.

I noticed that several files are responsible for the skin. Plus files - damage. I could also make a new damage file. But I don't understand how it works.
Earlier when I created sky textures, or textures on zero. I have worked with TGA files. And everything was displayed correctly. And it opened. Now I am faced with the fact that nothing happens. Files do not open. And they don't change color.

And now, and here, I need your help. (By the way, not adobe illustrator, nor new versions of adobe photoshop, I also cannot open these files)

But the person who worked on Zuikaku, somehow managed to open them.
Now my work is stop. I even planned to make skins for a later version of U-Boat today. But alas. Until everything stopped again. And I can't do without your help.

Help me please.

Original TGA files must be converted with "TGA Converter" (ViewIMF)!

TGB files are TGA files. All you have to do is temporarily change the file extension (tgb to tga).
They are very important...

No.  :( :-|

Unfortunately, there is nothing I can do. Using the program ViewIMF-V1_0. I was able to open the files, then convert them, manage to change them, and then put them back in the 3do folder. All skins are the same size. I changed three files (see screenshot).

I still couldn't open the TGB file. The ViewIMF program does not see it.
But nothing changes in the game. The game simply loads the old default skin. Which has nothing to do with my changes. I don't understand what to do. Maybe I'm missing something. Anyway. The work is worth it.

I'm also sure that it's not about converting. Because I have already worked with TGA files before. Moreover, I converted them to 4K format. And everything worked.

ViewIMF - helps to open encoded files. which cannot be opened by other programs. He helped me with this.

Otherwise, however, I didn't make any progress. Maybe I'm missing something, maybe I'm just dumb, but I don't understand what I should do. I would definitely not call myself a beginner in working with TGA.

However, I can't paint the boat. And I can’t give her the color that I need.
