The shared skins are beautifully made. They are so good that they beg to be used as default. For this, however, you need their unmarked version.

... you mean blanks to be used as "Stationary" in FMB for ex ...?

... just asking, because if you use an already marked skin as "default", then if you want to put this plane as a stationary plane in the FMB, you'll get superimposed markings ...  :-X

... except if you choose a "neutral" camp for that stationary, so neither blue, nor red ...  ;)

:)  Indeed, there is often some confusion in defining skins,
so for the sake of clarity :
1) Skin (bitmap) = Livery with national and departmental insignia.
2) Skin NM (bitmap) = Livery without insignia and without department codes.
3) Skin NN (bitmap) = Livery with national insignia but without ward code.
4) Skins empty (bitmap) = Skin NN
5) Skin1o  (TGA) =Livery to be placed in the folder "summer" or "winter" in the folder "plane".To have a default on which to load the insignia provided automatically.
6) Skin void (bitmap) = Skin White without livery with black borders and riveting to be inserted in the "Skins-plane"  folder .
7) Skin blank (bitmap) = Skin NM .

Correct me if I am wrong....   ;)

... well I tought there might be a small problem with these blanks that I had never seen before, because according to the theater of operation, Luftwaffe planes had a specific fuselage strip, white for the MTO, yellow for the Eastern Front, or nothing for those onboard a ship ...

So I just checked, and of course cC is too smart a skinner to have eluded this potential "bug" ...  8)

So there are 3 blanks, with a white strip for MTO, yellow for the Eastern Front, and no strip too ...  ;)
