I have this set-up too, as an intermittent player now I couldn't justify the expense of Warthog etc. and being of age-limited intellect I restrict myself to WW1 or 2 and avoid those new-fangled jets, so there are more than enough sliders, hat switches and buttons on the TM16000 for those simpler eras of flight. I find this set-up more than adequate for my use. Can't get the pedals recognised in WOFF for some reason, so I use either stick twist-axis or the flapper on the throttle unit when I remember it's there!
It's been a 'old dog/new tricks interface with me, having to learn using a new HOTAS after so many years with the previous one before it gave up.
I agree genX about the lack of centering on the pedals, but one gets used to it after a while. I found the throttle slider too stiff which made the lightish unit slide over desk surface, but a silicone dry-lube cured that.
Strange the problems OP is experiencing; sounds like a faulty unit or USB port, or maybe there is conflict on assignments?
