This happens because it is a Parasite Mod.
The older He115 not on parr with the BAT Fixes done.

This is no Bugger, Slots can be made, stuff fixed.

I'll give it a go and plant a new Slot, nothing easier than that, than trouble ends.
You can attach Glitter, Lametta or Pilots later.

I got around to trying a different version to what I had but still no go, why it works in BAT I do not understand as that model is what I have got I think, I just replaced the folders so it should have worked, again I tried tinkering with clips and hooks for the gear but no go, usually I can sort out the seaplanes I have fixed quite a few but this no!  Maybe there is something I have not noticed that is obvious, when I do/if find the cause I will most likely kick myself for not understanding what was wrong in the first place!

Sadly health issues mean I no longer have the time or patience to fiddle with it, I fucked about with one version trying to make the markings fit better, the one Maggot provided, that was a trial of patience, it needed anger management classes to get some kind of result, no more I will use what I have for now if I need the He-115.

I assume the previous version already in BAT
is not exactly as the Standalone here in public.
Most stuff in BAT receives cosmetic Fixes which make
out the difference.


My attempt went down the bin too.
That due to a strange old code used.

I had troubles compiling the Cockpit Java,
then Game loads plane, new Slot, but Bombardier position
crashes.
The Bombardier compiled fine, I expected a crash at the Cockpit per se. Interpolater stacks of Errors.
I'm lost at that, never seen such issue, Log Errors before.

When back home will post my attempt, as said, I could need help at the Java crashing Bombardier,
so far the rest is Okay.

 :-X   I go back to the problem of bounces on the water during take-off, I confirm that in 4.12 the take-off mode is not manageable, but ditching takes place without problems. Another difficulty lies in making it re-launch, it takes off without bounce problems but then the acceleration stops at 120 Km / h just enough to lift it from the water but you can't increase the speed ...    ::(

hallo,
for me the plane has 2 behaviors:
1. on QMB or single mission , if the mission start fron a flyng situation,  the plane works ok , it can land at sea or take off ;
2. on scramble, starting from the land or sea at speed zero, it jumps like a mad ball....
My IL2 is BAT F.P. 4.2.1

update:  ..unfortunately I and the AI are stuck on the water.
            .. roughly AI is stuck at 71km/h or 66km/h. Pilot can reach 170km/h, then floats break causing crash.
            .. lift off (174km/h) is currently not achievable or done at any speed ( using flaps take off ).
            .. the plane appears as slightly high on and not into the water.( I can live with that ).
            .. tested with He115betav1 or  He115alphaV2. ( both only with pilot pit ).
            .. the bomb bay file was used or not. Bomb bays had no seen reaction.

update3:  Manual take off: FULL FLAPS (=landing) and PULL UP
               (then possible) at 160km/h+ .
               This method however is not AI friendly, since it cannot do so.
update2: I have looked into the tail drag situation with 'some invisible gear_C1' but
              found no such hidden mesh by that name.

This particular model is now all okay in my 4.12.2 ModAct 5.30. ;)

I think I now have three different versions, spoilt for choice I am. :D
