Number two, hit the silk!

Just today, I wanted to revisit 4.08m (You know, the good old times?) and play a few missions. I first started messing around in QMB making two random planes fight eachother in Smolensk. I then decided to play the "Stalemate at Stalingrad" single mission, admired the Me-323 gigant flying by us, before taking off. when we reached cruising altitude, that's when shit got real. Without me looking, Number 2 was somehow hit. I was CERTAIN there was no flak or enemies at this part of the mission. Not in the 4.08m version at least. I instantly quit the mission & rewatched the track. At the part Number 2 got hit, I saw a model of the X-4 missile flash right above him for a split second, before he lost a wing. And when I quit the game entirely to check log.lst, it was unchanged from last time I played. I have LOG=1 for god's sakes. And yes, I am aware that this isn't tech help, but it's more of a story than a technical question.

Because it is round, a big ball.

Theory: From a mathematical (geometry) point of view, a sphere consists of many triangles. The rounder the ball, the more triangles.

For a cube, on the other hand, you only need six faces.

I'm waiting since a lot of years for the revision of the opened parachutes.
