Are you talking about the texture from my first post?  I did not quite understand.  If yes, then it is defective, it was just an example.  You can simply download the image and save it in bmp format ;)

All the same, they believe that it is necessary to correct some riveting on the wings. These are screenshots, work is still in progress. But perhaps all the same, riveting is not always relevant. Time will tell. I think this is yet to be understood. And make a choice. I'm leaning towards the ones shown in the last photo. Although I understand that if everything is redone. I don't like the frequency of their placement on the wings. She looks terrible. This is, of course, uniform madness ... redoing everything. But I can't do otherwise. If you take any job. To do it to the end, and very well.

Though reworking everything I've done is crazy...
but maybe .... in places to use this skill ...???

Hello Broman,

the plane and the proportion look wonderful but I don't see any Focke Wulf!

I apologize if I didn't understand your post correctly.

In what resolution were these photos taken?

With best regards

Hey bomber killer. Yes, everything is simple here, the main thing here is not a photo. (By the way, the resolution here is 4K.) The main thing is what is shown in the last picture. Namely, a certain file from the game warthunder. Where is the image of the rivets. These rivets are from a large archive of my parts. They can be transferred to any aircraft, while it does not have a file with DDS support, but has an ordinary format. And with all this, the rivets are felt - "alive". At the same time, they have volume.
So that's what I'm talking about, it turns out that in order to make skins like this one, you just need a database of files from the warthunder game.
I really want us, those who draw skins. Together, and began to do such cool things. So that we contribute more and more skins with high detail. It's actually NOT HARD!
Let's say I have some details. That is, figuratively speaking. You are looking for some kind of hatch (For example, for a wing) Open the folder with its image, reduce in size, adjust and paste. All.
In warthunder, there are a lot of developments. which will be useful to us. We, having lunch, could do very good projects. For example, no one will stop us from drawing a skin in 4K, and converting it to 2K. It's just that the detail will be much more significant.
And gradually, by united efforts, we could block the entire line of aircraft from the game. Recall the recent work of Zflyer48,
Curtis SBC. And relate this to what the skin for this aircraft could be. I'm not talking about what has already been drawn. Recall for example my work on KI-10. There was only a blank, the rest I did everything myself. Although everything seems to be perfect, there is no limit to perfection.Or my same A6M as it was at the very beginning. And what it becomes.
That is, we can radically transform our skins. But for this, all of us, those who draw skins, must really eat lunch so that our base of developments grows, the skills become better, and the time spent on our work becomes less and less.
Of course I'm talking about it. I speak openly. Not afraid of criticism. I've wished we had dinner like this for so long.

That would be amazing.

By the way, if this is not the place for my post, then I apologize. It's just that any topic is "live" for me. I would really like to see it.

Hello Broman,

there is nothing to apologize for, everything is fine!

I'll thank you for the kind words. Factual criticism allows many things to be improved.

At the moment I have a completely different problem. We have to find a solution here to be able to play the 4K skins in 8bit (indexed) in IL-2.

Indexing the 4096² almost lossless is not the problem!

The problem: Unfortunately, these "invisibly castrated" skins are not reproduced here in any IL-2 version.

I look at the amount of downloads from the 4K skins on Mediafire and have to realize that these download rates do not match those of my 1024² or 2048² skins.

I'm wondering if all the effort is still worth it. My skins folder is huge because of the 4K skins, this is where I only uploaded a fraction of my 4096² skins.

My goal is also to make the rivets in the 4K skins even more realistic!

With best regards

I don't quite understand what's bothering you, I think everything looks as it should.

I understand this will be a template, great, keep up the good work! ;D
