After trying to fix it myself, I realized that I need help.
Thinking it best to start over, I downloaded GOG 4.10, and Mega Patched up to 4.12.2m, and it works.
Downloaded Red Core 4.0, and when starting in the IL2 Selector window I see the BAT splash screen flash, and that's it.
Hopeful that this is simple to simple to fix, and therefore didn't include the log file.

Did you make sure that the World At War ( #WAW3) module is selected in your settings? I know, maybe a silly question, but you never know. Red Core only includes the WAW module.

The Game Type in IL2 Selector is on BAT World at War 1936-1946. Instead of loading all the upgrades at once I thought it better to test each layer of the cake after download. Do I have to install all upgrades before starting it?

And, how did you install B.A.T. #WAW3?

And why did you the install from Megapatch over 4.10?

Right is 4.07 then Superpack and at last install the B.A.T. v4.0 "RED CORE" - The World At War pack mod.

When all was done right, your game should run.

I don't know what GOG stands for, but like Steam you can download the basic game from them. I wonder if not using Steam is my problem, but it shouldn't be.
