I'm sorry about to say (write) you're wrong.

Please in your B.A.T. main game folder go to:

BATDOCS. There is a folder "BATDLLS".

Open this folder and you'll see "BATDLLS-03_BAT-4096".

Real shame these new pilots dont work in BAT  tried a few Spits and get this beheaded pilot sadly!!

had the same problem in the F2A with a us pilot... I solved it finally with using the hier.him lines for the body from the modded pilot and the head lines from the original hier.him...

I was able to modify the BAT 4.2.1 hier.him files by replacing their entries with those provided by Ranwers for some late war RAF aircraft (Seafire MKXV, Seafire MK45/46/47, Spitfire MKXIVC, SpitfireLFMKXIVE) and they seem to be working.  I've uploaded the complete 3do/plane folders for those who would like to give them a try here:

The original BAT 4.2.1 SFS Archives for the Spitfire MK IX and Tempest MK V variants do not include any hier.him files, so I wasn't able to modify these, but if someone could provide the V4.12.2M hier.him files for these aircraft we might be able to add the entries Ranwers has made for the pilot and his equipment to give them a try.

actually, I use a somewhat modified hier.him of the F2A from WXTechs new gunsight mod for the F2A...

and as for hier.him files from British warbirds...scour the single engine aircraft mod section here... there is a lot of packs of British birds hers that are integrated in the BAT already but still available as single downloads... there should be hier.him files there...
