Hello folks, whats up? so one thing i noticed recently is that the current torrent link for VP installation files is not working anymore and i remember downloading it when it still was working a while ago. I have VP installed already (though i'm thinking of reinstalling it) and i have no problems with downloading from Mediafire, but after a few friends who are new to IL-2 1946 modding told me that it doesnt work, went to check and it indeed doesnt so i decided to make this post to let people know so maybe its restored sometime for others that might try to download through it in the future. Oh and dont worry about them as they managed to download all the files and install it, +2 more people to our community. Thanks for your attention and i guess this is the right place to post.

Maybe this is normal!
The author hasn't come for 2 years!
And SAS doesn't do any maintenance for this pack.

I have just checked everything and it turns out to be a simple http/https thing.
The Torrent file link was pointing to an http (not "s") address.
While we do convert such links to https automatically at SAS, modern browsers tend to close new tabs from such redirected links.

Long story short, I've changed the link to https manually now and everything's working fine.
We're still hosting the VP Torrent files (and the bunch of installation files they point to), we're the keepers of IL-2 stuff after all
