French AD-4s
« on: January 03, 2022, 05:33:37 PM »

Find here a pack of historic skins for the AD-4 and AD-4N Skyraiders flown by the French Air Force in the close air support role during the last 2 years of the Algerian War and then in other parts of Africa throughout the remainder of the 60s. Skins are 2048 and are for the Barnsey Skyraider only. They should be placed in the "AD-4" skin folder.  They may or may not work with Barnsey's A-1 H and J versions.  Personally, I have never had much luck adding skins for those two variants but no problems with the AD-4 as long as the skins are HD.  Aircraft are for various units of 20e Escarde de Chasse and are so marked on the skin title. Enjoy.

Yes, Gabon, Chad & Cambodia.  They all flew AD-4 French hand-me-downs. All, I think, flew combat missions at some point.
