Can it happen that the MG bullets making ricochet hit the tanks bottom during straffing ?
I presume that tanks in iL-2 have NO ARMOR on the bottom , this means that MG bullets could destroy heavy tanks using ricochet...

Maybe if the tanks have Hit Boxes on their under carriage. Good question though.

Its said to aim at the rear of a tank at his engine and weapons stores as well as fuel tank. ;)

best way to find out is to try, mate - can't do any harm.
it's marked 412, so i would guess so, but the only way to know for sure is to try...
