My grass version.

If you don't need a flowers then navigate in to:
X:\IL-2 Sturmovik 1946\#SAS\GRASS_RANWERS\3do\Airfield\Ground\Runway
and delete (or deactivate)body.msh.
Next change name -body_grass_without_flowers.msh for body.msh

I take it his works with the static entries for the original grass mod?

Is this like Despereaux's version which adds grass to all planned runways, activated through JSGME? Or is it like Carmaster's larger mod, which has to be added to mod folders, then added in FMB?

Ah dang, Bird, you are right!
That is a general mod that alters all airfields by default! Not what I am looking for at all, to be honest.

The introduction as "my version" of Carsmaster's grass sounded completely misleading to me then.
Ranwers, maybe you should make that more clear what this thing does.

Okay, I played with it a bit and found that I could just replace the runway textures in the JSGME version with the textures in your mods runway folders, and now have your grass on planned runways.

This is very pretty, and looks much more like what I'd expect to see. Including the shadows. This is my favorite version so far!

Yeah, I looked at the folder structure and realized that it was all over the place. However, the grass is the most like what I'd be willing to use as a runway IRL. So I stole part of it ;)

Yes, but . . .
Like I said, I took the runway folder's contents from Ranwers' mod here, and dumped them into Despereaux's JSGME version. That screenie I shared was taken in BAT 4.2 .
