Hi, i've been playing a P47 campaign with BAT WAW installed, i've noticed the plane starts making a ringing noise (Akin to an old telephone) I was wondering what this means and if there is any way to disable it or lower the volume, at first i thought it indicated low speed or High Gs but to be honest i'm not really sure

Thanks!

It might be the rear-warning radar, some versions were equipped with it, and I know some of the versions in BAT have it modelled. That being said, I've not tested that function, so I don't know what the warning noise is.

What version of the P-47 were you flying?

You're correct Ta183, the radar sometimes is triggered by the ground behind you as well so that's possibly why you're hearing it, but if anything is somewhat close behind you in a P-47 you'll hear it

I'm using the P-47D-27, that makes a lot of sense! Thanks for replying
