« on: June 19, 2021, 10:15:29 AM »

Two missions, it took place a few dozen kilometres to the west
in the area of Wapniarki and Krzyżopol.
Thank you von Oben for the Polish cavalry.

In Russian literature it is written that Alexei took a liking to the Anslado aircraft because of its 220 hp engine

Very interesting! But anti-aircraft guns shoot very powerfully!

Polish soviet war?

  Neron,
Hearty fellow, a little knowledge wouldn't hurt, if only for the sake of aviation operations. They were not spectacular and indiscriminate, but blood was shed and young pilots died.

This is according to the literature. The armored and supply trains that took part in this war, using the experience of the I ww, were quite well equipped with anti-aircraft weaponsThe armored and supply trains that took part in this war, using the experience of the , were quite well equipped with anti-aircraft weapons. On the one hand and on the other. For example Russian armored train "Death to parasites",("Смерть паразитам").

An episode from this war, when aircraft of the 3rd  Division attacked armoured trains supporting the Red Army's strike.

I'm planning to do some Russian civil war campaign in the far east, Manchuria, and Siberia, Mongolia and China, with the armored trains like main characters. Like in corto maltese.

Polish Air Force had 1 plane Gotha in G III version and 4 copies of G IV. All planes were war trophies. There was only one G IV aircraft in combat, no. 213/17, which was renumbered to 100/17 after overhaul at £awica. It was delivered to 21 EN in April 1920. From the end of May till the beginning of August that year this machine, escorted by the Fokkers D VII of the 15th EM, was harassing the Bolshevik troops, destroying armoured trains, larger groups of troops and logistic bases of the enemy.
The first Gotha attack was made at dawn on 27 May 1920, at about 5 a.m. The target was the Malewannaja station, an easily identifiable facility that guaranteed to hit something important even with the scattered bombs.

The accompanying planes for the Gotha G IV were AEG C.IVs, but unfortunately, in my B.A.T., that plane would not fly higher than 370 meters.
That's why I used the AEG JII as the first (as some believe) Assault Plane.

All skin credits go back to their owners. Some of them I reworked to fit Polish Air Force of that time.
