Happy to!

02.11.43 - Flying a RODEO mission with RAF Spits and B-25s. Boelcke's ETO Dynamic campaign. Not off to a good start for my first sortie: 2nd flight all MIA or KIA, including Squadron lead, last seen ditching over the canal. Only 2 tallies for us, rest to the Spits. Bombers were on target (fuel bowsers and parked Ju-88s) and unscathed, so some silver lining.

Flying a co-op as we usually do on the weekends, HSFX 7. Here we're a group of 'little friends' on the final return home when we get jumped. First two attacks on the B-17s went atrociously well but we managed to finally get the FWs to deck and got the gloves on. Wingman sadly had the full mustang experience when the 'magic bullet' forced him to ditch in enemy terrain.

Love the .50 and probably do my best shooting with it, but I'm so rusty its hard for me to get a kill burst - hit two other FWs really badly, or so I thought, only to see them stay in the fight. Finally got one low and slow. Felt good to just land a co-op, we're having a very painful re-entry into this part of the game.

Seeing off some pesky raiders off near Eastbourne, "God's waiting room" on the South Coast, nowadays. I wonder if that was the case in '43 and '44?

Sorry to disappoint, no particular object, just some clever use of air starts in the FMB.

Some more shots from a few weekend co-ops. The La series of planes is starting to grow on me. Good teamwork between us, we all made it home, though some of us with a few scars. The IL-10s we were escorting did nearly as well.

We were running on fumes by the time we landed again

And a bonus: After a very successful fleet defence co-op during one of the many Malta convoys, in one of my personal favourite airplanes. Stork and Dutch claimed 4 SM79s between them while I kept G50s and MC200s busy - three for me. She's slow, she's homely looking, but the Fulmar can hang on her flaps like nothing else I've seen and 6000 rounds of ammo make it a perfect fleet defender. Just love it!

Here's a weird, but enjoyable mission I found in the depths of M4T. I know the NKPAF "adopted" some derelict Oscars, so I suppose this was technically a plausible scenario...

By rights I shouldn't post this as I'm likely to embarrass myself. Myself and two mates fly an escort mission on a couple of flights of Swordfish, Madagascar 1942.

I tick every box, from an awkward take off, to some absolutely clownish gunnery to an even more clownish landing - but I made it safe with a pair of kills. That's all that matters right  :P?
