Installation of Western Front Add-on maps
« on: March 08, 2021, 08:56:45 AM »

Hi guys, I urgently need your help installing the Western Front add-on maps. I also thought I had these maps working, but on the 'generic' maps I could not save a mission. Then I started looking for 'missing objects' and found all 189 of them. So I thought done, but unfortunately, even with these objects in it, I still can't save a mission. And the annoying thing is that my log (41 pages) gives error messages which I can't explain or solve. for example:

Problem in house spawn registration: com.maddox.il2.objects.buildings.House$mortaintonnel_01_H0
House: Parameter [buildings.House$mortaintonnel_01_H]:<MeshLive> not found

Although I think that this is not the problem because this message is also in the log of the 1944 Summer map, and I can save missions there. The log of this map is only 10 pages. All the versions of this object I have are without meshLive.

Load bridges
LongBridge: too big offset

House: Section House$OilMobiloil not found
com.maddox.il2.objects.buildings.House$OilMobiloil.registerSpawner() failed.

I am 100% sure that this object is in 3do and static.ini.

Furthermore, there are whole lists in the log like:

Load static objects
##### House without collision (3do/Tree/Line/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/French/frenchvillage1/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/England/jetty5/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/French/rubble_block/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/French/rubble/live.sim)
##### House without collision (3do/Buildings/Furniture/10x1_5_White/mono.sim)

While these do not appear in 3do and static.ini. Does this mean I still have to put them in 3do and static.ini? I have been trying to get these maps in order for a while now, but am now afraid that without help I must give up.
O, all this was done in a 'clean' #WAW3 folder taken from the BAT 4.0 installation files.

... these lines are not responsible for your issue, they only say that these objects are not destructable (because they have no collision boxes) ...  ;)

Get static.ini checker tool.
It saves you all the guesswork.

I already used the static.ini checker, after adding that 189 objects it said all objects were present in my static.ini.

Correcting a typo ( mine or Thierry's?) in the static.ini shortened the log file to 31 pages in Word. Is there please a mapmaker willing to take a look at this and let me know what's wrong? Logfile is at
