Thanks, Uzin !

May I do you a suggestion ? About the static.ini... maybe it would be useful for many to have just the lines you added, instead of a complete file : this way, your map can be installed in any installation (BAT, HSFX, etc) with just adding the new objects. Also, it can be better for people who have modded their own installation with other objects. It would be excellent !

Thanks in advance, and I hope this pack will find its way in BAT, as it really seems to deserve it !

Too big job for oldman. Let Uzin take a well-deserved leave of absence.

I am having a odd problem with these maps. The summer map loads, saves missions and flies fine. The winter loads but will not save missions. Usually a map not saving means an object is missing, but for some reason I cannot get the Universal static.ini checker 1.3 to recognize any maps (not just these Caucasus Gate maps) in order to access the subset actor.static when I try and search for missing objects - the maps folder opens but only displays the all.ini file. I know these are two separate problems but I can't solve one without the other.  Are there objects specific to the winter map not included in the summer map that I can access elsewhere? Any ideas on what I could be doing wrong with the v1.3 checker or has there been a new version of the .ini checker released for BAT 4.1.1 that I have overlooked?  Any guidance appreciated.

Hi , I met the same issue, missions will load and save fine with the summer maps but not with the winter maps.
I solved the issue by looking at the log.txt file in the main I2 directory and by making some changes.
There are some objects in the static.ini that were found missing when editing the mission
Below How I solved the issue
1) By looking at the MAPMODS/3do/Buildings/ folder I found a "-" at the beginning of the Slovak_Winter folder , I removed the  "-".
2) I copied/renamed the "Moscow" folder as a "Moscow_winter" folder
3) In that newly "Moscow_winter" folder I deleted all the summer subfolders and kept only the _W subfolders which I renamed without the _W.
Several trials were needed to fully solve the issue, each time I had to look at the log.txt file to find the cause of the issue.

I hope this can be helpful.

Thanks Ansons, the Slovak_winter folder name edit and Moscow_winter folder reaming/creation did the trick.  Now flying in the snowy terrain outside Rostov-on-Don - which matches the winter view outside my window.

And thank you to Uzin for a great summer-winter pair of maps.
