Hmm... it's interesting how far in detail that they go into with this plane. I'm mostly Russian, so I know what they're saying. My goodness, the IL-10 is like a flying tank with all of that armor!

Yeah, I've seen the example at the Krumovo museum while it was restored - it's hard to believe that so much steel can fly! Not only that, but the Il-10 could go up to 560km/h fully loaded... I really enjoy flying that thing in the sim, although the Il-2 is a bit too frail, in my opinion. There was a reason the Luftwaffe developed a special tactic to bring them down, after all...

Yup, a couple hits in the oil cooler, and it's going down. Although, it is very risky business getting into a position to dive on an IL-2, as you may smash into it as you're diving, or miss your target completely. I prefer just to take multiple 20mms, 30mms, or 37mms to bring it down.

It's only weak spot was the oil cooler,so the experten attacked from the rear and bellow.

Gneisenau_43, I am a native Russian speaker, so watching these old Russian movies makes me shed a tear... :)

Well, I have Russian heritage (but live in America), so that video embodies a sense of might and industry within me. :)

Btw, "Spasibo za video" means "Thank you for the video". (Just pointing that out if anyone was curious!)

Nato didn't call this plane 'Beast' for nothing! Il10 is my favorite heavy fighter ;)
