FMB freezing

I have found that FMB sometimes appears to freeze for no reason, resulting in the screen below.
The view seams to be indicative of viewing the map from a very high altitude, but it becomes impossible to exit this view, place objects (although often object viewer still works).

Although the file menu still works, it is impossible to to exit back to the main menu, and and "control, alt, delete has to be used to close the game.

When the game faults it should generate an entry in the log that could help us identify the problem. We need a copy of your log when this happens.

These are the only pieces of information that I could find in the log files.
I had the game freeze in a similar error to the above screen on the initial post of the screen, and to exit I had to do a 'Control', 'alt' 'delete' and then log out of the COMPUTER entirely.

I don't have much experience with logs, so I am unsure what is causing the freeze.
Could it be too many objects placed on the map???

We need "the other" log. The filename normally is "log" or "log.lst". But you need to check this log right after you detect the issue, otherwise logs get overwritten the next time you launch the game. So next time you have to do a 'Control', 'alt' 'delete' and then log out of the COMPUTER entirely, go to the game folder, look for the right log and share it here.

Ok. I believe that this is the correct log.
I have tried to get a copy of the last few minutes of the log from the game.
The issue that I had was that FMB froze when I tried to press exit. I used control/alt/del to exit and started 'windows task manager, which stated that IL2-1946 was still 'running'

This is the code following the most recent similar error. There does not appear to be a particular cause for these issues, they just seem to occur when I am trying to use FMB, after I have made a few edits.

Most recently, the game froze when I pressed the 'play' button.
However, before this I was able to play the mission as well as make changes (saving it basically every minute)

Thanks for the mission, redbaron96. I confirm it happens to me as well in JTW.

It seems there's something wrong with an object, or part of an object. The miss file isn't complete, it halts when saving destroyed objects. Probably while parsing 3do/Buildings/Moscow/State_History_Museum/dead.sim.

We are missing "dead" versions of the Kremlin object. These two files to be precise:

well, do we have the damaged textures themselves? If there are none, the mats alone are a non starter and you can go the alive=dead route for this particular object right away in the static.ini.
