Elated at having downed a bomber, I didn't even see the Thunderbolt that hit me. The boys chased it off and escorted me home - I was lucky to make it.

We decided to try out a new idea. Covered by two 'standard' Schwalbes, I went up in search of some big prey. I found nothing, and it was decided to leave this idea and its' teething troubles on the ground.

Imagine this things nose weight... they stuck a big f*** off cannon in the front which zeroed her manueverability... she was really a waste but showing how adaptable the Me-262 is.
