Does anyone know of a BAT-friendly screenshot prop mod?
« on: December 19, 2020, 03:04:10 PM »

I've found a couple, but can't get them to work. Any pointers appreciated.  :)

As far as I know, all rotating prop texture mods are "BAT-friendly," due to the fact that BAT handles rotating prop textures exactly the same way as any other game version or modpack. If you
can't get them to work
then chances are you're doing something wrong. Which mods have you tried, and how are you installing them?

Thanks for reply.  :)

I've found the old Stuka prop textures mod and ScreenShot_Propeller_v1.1 and 2. I've tried them by dropping the named folder into JSGME via the BATMODs folder - with and without putting them into a #WAW3 folder first, with and without a '!' prefix.

Fl2070 I tried to get your prop mod you made has dirtblox to work in bat,but it doesn't really show up like it did in cup, I dropped it into batmods with !!!!!!! Prefixes enabled it in jsgme but it doesn't show up, I considered your mod the closest to ww2 props in reality than all the others, have you got it to work in bat.? Kev.

The BATMODS folder (and JSGME) should never be used unless they are specifically instructed to be. Propeller texture mods go in their respective era folders, like #WAW3 and #TGA3.

with and without putting them into a #WAW3 folder first, with and without a '!' prefix.

If you've put the mod in the #WAW folder, it should work. Install the mod this way, and then send a screenshot of the folder directly inside the #WAW3 folder. If you've installed the mod correctly, the only thing you should see is a folder called "3do".

Thanks for info'.  :)

Having disabled then re-enabled mods due to BAT update, I've found that BAT\BATMODS\00_ScreenShot_Propeller_v2\#WAW3\00_ScreenShot_Propeller_v2... works via JSGME. Thanks again for the time you take to help out around here.
