Well I finally decided someone had to make some skins for the Ju-187 so I figured I would be the one to do it. These skins are meant to be fairly realistic in design so they won't be super elaborate but I still hope you all like them!


A Ju-187D-2 flown by Otto Rosenberger of I/SG.3 from his base at Immola, October, 1944. Following some much needed upgrades after the disappointing A and B series, the D series of Ju-187s proved themselves quite effective and were soon feared and respected by the Russians.


This is the only photo known to exist of the Ju-187D-4 torpedo-bomber prototype. Much of the details of this plane remain a mystery and the location and exact date of the photo has yet to be determined. However, it is theorized to predate the testing phase as the plane is partially recorded to have been damaged following a test flight. This theory is corroborated by the fact that the cockpit is clearly not fully assembled at this point.


A Ju-187G-2 "Gunbird" as flown by Werner Bergmann of III/SG.3 from his base in Prague, April, 1945. The one of the two kill markers on the front of the plane were said by him to have been a IS-2 which he was able to kill with ease in a low altitude frontal attack, however today many historians look at this statement with skepticism.

Glad to see I ain't the only one loving this little weirdo! Though I must say, these screenshots don't do it justice - the lighting and filters are just too intense, it's hard to get a feel for the colours of the skins.

What made you think I wouldn't like it? I really like the look of them with the contrast increased. I just didn't feel like having to go back and change them myself, that's all. Sorry if my reply came across the wrong way.
