Levasseur PL15
« on: October 18, 2020, 04:06:11 AM »

The seaplane development of the PL7 was the PL15
I made this mod using original plans from Levasseur company and some quite good photographs of the cockpit and instruments panel
One things remain to be done on this plane:
1) writing the java to activate the cursor of the torpedo sight (the formula is ready but I was simply not in the mood to touch the java )

As usual you'll need the new French Arms pack:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/uoq2dykiucptxz0/_Arms_French_1918_1943.7z/file
and these files too
https://www.mediafire.com/file/q0rycxpqvqgodse/!Interwar+French+Machine+Guns.7z/file
https://www.mediafire.com/file/lppb53xhy48ujer/!French+Torpedo+and+Racks.7z/file

Link for the plane:
https://www.mediafire.com/file/r2k276mstyofxoj/Levasseur+PL15+v1.0.7z/file

Air.ini additions:
Levasseur_PL15     air.PL15 1                            NOINFO  f01   SUMMER

Feel free to finalize and upgrade this plane where needed.
Enjoy

The plane has been tested in 4.122 modact 5.30, so will probably run smoothly also in BAT

Hi,
I installed this nice seaplane in DBW 1.71... It appears normally in FMB and I can change skin. As an AI plane, I can shoot it down Ok. But when I try to fly it, I've got a return to desktop...
What could I do to fix this? In the cockpit file, there is an PL15 file and a PL15ori file... I've tried with both, with only one and with the PL15ori renamed to PL15 but no go ...
Thanks for help...
A french sailor eager to fly your beautiful french seaplane !!! :D :D :D

1) Wipe the PL15ori - it was a test cockpit and does not fit with the cuurent java. I forgot to clean the folder.
2) DBW 1.71 ... this means base 4.10? the plane has been developed under 4.12 and will probably also fit 4.09 - but 4.10 may have some java trick. As Epervier said, post your log.

Read how to get the log here, and the instant log here.

When you want to post only the relevant parts from the log
read here how to do this. (code option!)

If you want to post all lines of the logfile we suggest to use https://pastebin.com/
to paste your log and then paste the link here which you got from them.
Read and see here how to do this.

Note: It is preferable to provide the LOG in its entirety!
