PFALZ-1918 at M4T Now
« on: September 24, 2020, 12:24:02 AM »

I'm about 4-5 missions away from finishing a Pfalz DIIIa campaign set in 1918. I'm just waiting on some skins.

EDIT April 2021: Well that took a while! Just the usual procrastination, and disorganization. Anyhow, here it is. My PFALZ-1918 campaign is up at M4T.

I've used Random Weather, and Random Planes in a number of missions. If there's no weather report in your briefing, that means the weather has been randomized.

It starts in early 1918.

This Salmson didn't make it home.

Aces have more than one plane.

The last French AR1.

Alabtros DVa v Bre 14.

LSK v AEF.

N28 v AEG C IV.

Albatros D5a v Nieuport 28.

The bombers got through.

A downed USAS SPAD XIII.

Pfalz DIIIa v Sopwith Snipe.

I'm looking forward to this one David.
Liked the first one but this is the one I was thinking about when I was hankering for the Pfalz.

Kind regards

I went through it a couple of days ago, and added all the specially modified skins. The last five missions will take about a week. Then more time for testing, and ironing out mistakes. I've added the new update. It was a piece of cake.
I spent 4-5 hours that day getting bombs from a Swordfish to land in the right place to damage a truck colum. I hate bombs! There were several lots of bombers involved. So, I had first to figure out whose bombs were landing where. Then the patrolling fighters attacked the target, because I was using a FAC. So, I got rid of them. The other fighters will get a couple of observstion planes to keep them amused.

PS: You'll be coming up against a number of American planes. Sop Strutters, Breguets, Salmsons, AR1s, SPAD IIIs, Camels, and Nieuport 28s

cheers

David

My PFALZ-1918 campaign is up at M4T. See entry below from last year. It's under Pfalz-1918 here.

You're welcome. I want to use it as the basis for a French, and USAS 1918 campaign. It'll be Nieuport 28s, and SPAD13s for the Yanks. Maybe Salmsons for the French.
