I have a problem. When I play jetmod QMB mission rather a long minutes then to click 'done' to quit the mission, the game freezes. Is it because of my PC ability?  Best regards.

Was playing completely fine until now but as of yesterday, it crashes on 60%.

Thanks for your great job to add JTW in VP.  But my computer might be not working good in playing JETWAR. Like CTD after playing quick mission in Korea map.So I recently copied items for Jet in #SAS folder and play in   VP Modpack. Added: SAS:commonutilils,enginemod,engineguidedmissiles,weaponpack2016,02_QWeaponsPack,00_1956_Core_v13,00_1956_FIX.
Deleted: !CTO_Modact5,!!00_0_FXEvolution_v4.12.
No other jets added so far. It works fine in any Quick mission,no CTD. But problem is that there isn't 'select missiles' in controls menu. Any idea to fix it?

Sorry to ask another question.  In my VP JETWAR, the smoke trail of sidewinder would disappears at the half of the target. Is it natural in VP?  In the case of BAT, it lasts nearly to the target.

Missiles' smoke trails are drawn only in seconds of each missiles' historical rocket motor fire periods, like AIM-9B is 2.2 seconds .... AIM-9L is 5.5 seconds.

Missiles continue Inertial flight after the motor shut-down with a little weak vapor.

I wrote this description some months ago, but I forget in which topic that was. In BAT Tech Help ?

Longer trail display times could also have an impact on the fps in large dogfights, so I did not change them. To be honest I'm not even sure which files to change, java or eff.

Thanks to you both western and vpmedia for your quick reply and nice information. That's too bad for me,'cause I wanted to see clearly that a missile traces to the target.

You can try increasing the 'livetime' parameter inside the eff files located in #JETWAR\00_1956_FIX\3DO\Effects\.

Nothing was changed since it's release, so I'd say yes it's still beta. 90% of the planes are completly ok, the rest has minor issues.
Just to mention a few examples:
- AC-47 gunsigth misaligned
- AH-1 Cobra 40mm launcher not working
- Mirages have incomplete ordnance list
- issues with chopper FM's (Bell-47, MH-6)
- SAM's need to be updated
+ probably a ton of other things, but I never really finished testing

I've been away from IL2 for 6 years..got it back up and running..went looking for the newest ultrapack and found the vpmodpack (Awesome!). Then stumbled upon this...I have been enjoying this immensely...just wanted to say THANK YOU!

Edit: found the engine mod to enable missile controls

Could any buddy tell me how to select bombs?  I have 'select missiles' in controls menu.
