the idea of putting a turboprop tho came when they designed the A2D Skyshark, which was essentially a Skyraider with a turboprop

Thank you for sharing this interesting project. 

Though Griffon_301 has already pointed out that this was designed for the large carrier classes - Essex, Midway - it is still very intriguing that the designers decided to go with such wingspan for a carrier aircraft.  If the wikipedia figures are accurate, then this plane had longer wingspan than those of B-25 or Avro Lancaster.  The relatively slim fuselage further accentuates this impression.

Actually the loudest aircraft ever built was the Republic XF-84H Thunderscreech, aka the "Mighty Ear Banger". It is reported that it made the ground crews sick.
