Missing piper cub
« on: July 03, 2020, 05:04:35 PM »

Hello everyone

I recently did a complete reinstall of BAT due to a tinkering error on my part, and after reinstalling up to 3.8.4 (on a completely fresh 4.12.2 install of IL-2) i noticed a peculiar error. One stationary aircraft (the piper cub) seems to be completely missing in the full mission builder. It shows up in the list of stationary aircraft, but it cannot be placed. Worse still, missions made from before the reinstall in which I used the cub as a spawn point for taxi to takeoff are now completely buggered. the problem persists in both WAW and JTW.  The flying cub experiences the same problem, I select it as an aircraft and load in to the mission, but i'm left sitting in an empty map. My guess is that the model is somehow missing, is there a simple way to find/require it or am I doomed to spend my days reinstalling?

You cannot lose a single aircraft. Technically impossible.
Did youset up your HD dlls?

Seem to have lost a few dlls along the way, that was the problem. went through the aircraft list and noticed a few more absentees and some naked pink mole rats as well. I
just redownloaded the dlls and that fixed it.
