30% crash

Hello I am new to modding and am experiencing a 30% crash (loading aircraft) any help would be appreciated.

PLease tell us more ..

ie wich games version, wich mods have you installed (Engine Mod maybe?) etc.

Or do you use a modpack like BAT or vp-modpack?

I am running a 4.12 game with ModAct 5.3, JGSME mods, and a variety of other random mod planes.  I tried installing a different version of the SAS engine mod, but that's when my problems started to occur.

Variety of random mod planes? Exactly which ones? Some planes require things like SAS Common Utils, or certain weapons packs (make sure to check)

JSGME mods? Again, which ones? Please note that saying "I have a few mods installed here and there" is not very helpful, instead "I have exactly these mods, these versions of these mods" will be much more useful for people trying to help you.

Different versions of engine mod? Messing with that is a very bad idea. There is only one version of engine mod you should have installed for 4.12.2m/MA5.3, and that's western0221's latest version. (the old stable 2.7 also works, but you will not be able to fly the modern jets)

Note also that in installing western's engine mod, you must have both the !SAS_Engine_Mod folder and the guided missiles folder (I forget exactly what that's called) and the mod must be installed standalone to the 2.7 version, not as a patch to it.

There's your problem. You've installed Engine Mod v2.6 for 4.11.1m. The various engine mod versions are compatible only with the game versions they are made for, thus the engine mod you have installed upon your game will cause issues.

To have a compatible engine mod for 4.12.2m you must instead use Engine Mod v2.7 or one of western's v2.7.x or v2.8.x versions!
