VHU+VSI+TAS
for UltraPack 3.4

VHU+VS+TAS is a mod that changes how the HUD displays your speed and altitude, and changes what the HUD displays. The mod has finally been updated to work with UltraPack 3.4 after a prompt development period of Two Weeks™.

In more detail, this mod:
- Changes the rounding of your speed/altitude readouts on the HUD to be to the nearest multiple of 1 instead of 10 or 50
- Displays your true speed next to your airspeed
- Displays your vertical speed next to your altitude

It's compatible with English language version of the game only. You can use it with other languages, but the vertical speed text will always be in English, regardless of what language you choose. (this will be changed in the future if possible)

WARNING TO ALL USERS: as of Ultrapack 3.4.2.8 (patch 2, hotfix 8), this mod has been DEPRECATED, as it has been integrated into UltraPack along with many improvements and a fresh coat of paint by SAS~Storebror. Only use this mod with UP3.3, and UP3.4 BEFORE Patch 2's Hotfix 8.

Any Update on VerboseHudUnits + VSI + TAS for Patch 9

I've tested it with patch 9, and it changes the speedbar like it should, but in patch 9, Storebror made a bugfix to part of the GUI, and there may be a classfile change overlap between patch 9 and VSU+VSI+TAS. I'm going to check patch 9 classfiles against VSU+VSI+TAS classfiles to make sure there aren't any incompatibilities before I either certify the mod for patch 9 or update it, but until then, use at your own risk...

Not FL's fault.
The HUD class got modified in UP3.4 in order to be able to display Trigger messages.
It's easy to make a filediff using the updated sources on our SVN Repo though.


Mike
