The current version of BAT is 3.8.2. (with the .2 due to the patches). Patches were also used with 3.7. etc.
To get all the content, do you have to download the patches or would they also be included in the next BAT version (i.e. the patches for 3.8.2 will also be included in the 3.9 version).

If I remember correctly the patched content is always included in the subsequent main release. However as 3.9 is likely several months away, what is the problem with patching 3.8? After all, the patches are not all new content, they typically mainly include corrections to existing issues.

All patches from the previous expansions is included with 3.8
