Computer woes

Well my computer is in the shop for a suspected MB failure. i was on it last night and it just totally shut down, and didnt display the faintest glimmer of power after that, im going to put UP3 on my backup(its already got CUP on it from ages past) so i should still be around on Sunday

I'm sweating blood and all that...knock on wood.  My rig seems to be content and I have the essentials backed up...but boy, oh boy...I worry over her...sheesh...

mine is 2 years old but a laptop, even if it cost 700$ to get a new MB it will still be less then i payed for the whole computer and it shouldn't be hard to find parts for

Maybe a PSU (Power Supply Unit) or MB (Mother Board) Fail, Tell them to Better Check, Also, Any of the Old PSU will fail for the First Try.

Get a New PSU like 550W or Greater ones.

The power supply is built into the computer KT it’s a laptop

Unfortunate Flanker, but lucky to get your laptop to a repairer. They are all closed over here.
I fear for my PC during the lockdown, it being 'elderly and vulnerable', having been built by my eldest son 14 years ago and never upgraded!
