Hi Polatava!

I'm having problems with YOT- sitzkrieg and invasion on netherlands (so far I've completed).

Game crashes in 60-80% of launches randomly, while in- flight.

I suspect that it's something related to map used in these scenarios- Previous segments have been perfect.

Do you, or anyone have ideas what can cause these random crashes?

Having the same mid-flight random crash problem this guy reported above in february ever since the sitzkrieg part of the YoT campaign.
Now im on the second mission of the blitzkrieg against the hollands and the ArrayIndexOutOfBoundsException happens when the D.XXIs spawn in. (just wanted to mention this :P)
I managed to find out that the CTD only happens if you fly more than one mission since starting IL-2 (so if you hit re-fly after dying or if you complete the mission and start the next one). There is nothing in the console or log files containing any clues as to why it happens as you can see in the log provided.

And the thing is, it crashed 5 minutes later than the last line in the log without logging anything. So yeah im pretty sure its not your campaigns fault. Just posting here for future reference and to report that something is wrong. But you can play through the campaign (Its a lot of fun btw thank you very much!) if you restart the game everytime you finish a mission or you have to refly one.

Im on an ultrawide 1440p monitor thats connected via displayport and an nvidia gtx1080 (So it could be a ScreenMode.dll issue but dunno), its a clean B.A.T 4.1.3 install, nothing activated in JSGME only have Victors sound mod 6 installed.

a great thank you for your campaigns; I still remember the great Fighter Boys I played years ago ...

one question: are the campaigns already updated to  BAT 4.xx requirements ? or should I start from the updated "mission pack" folder in "Single (World at War)" and rebuild your campaign using those updated missions ?

Hi guys!

Thanks for these reports! There is obviously some strange and unknown glitch at work here. Probably map related, probably having some impact on the memory of the game. Good to have the details. Hopefully someone with more tech knowhow will crack the nut one day. And MANY THANKS for the work-around!

Regarding the Whirlwind campaign freeze: could that have been an old version of that campaign? Because it contained a randomizer that didn't work, and that caused a freeze a short while into the mission,

Yes, all these campaign should be 100% BAT compatible! You just plunk them down in the proper place and you should be good to go!

Hey guys. I took the fifth mission of the "Typhoons over Normandy" campaign as a template for my mission (Unholy Alliance single mission [IN DEVELOPMENT]). LCVP landing craft and truck ships have lost their icons in the full editor. The same thing happened to stationary aircraft when I launched a mission from WAW to JTW. But here all the objects are in the selection menu, they can be safely placed and there will be no such bug. That is, they can be selected if you find the place where the icon should be located, you can move or delete them. Everything is as usual, but their icon is missing, when hovering over the place where it should be, the name of the object is not shown, and it is also not displayed in the object menu. (And sorry for my English)

Hello passerby..especially Poltava.
Mission: Siege of Hanko
I cannot get the Hurricane to move..I open up throttle and just get the engine revving up with no forward movement.
Tried other planes , so as to eliminate specifics, and none will move.
I'm using BAT 4.2.2 Hot fix 4.
